Paths were the earliest form of mark making. Bodies, human or otherwise, inscribe them on the land,. They are a collective history and a shared responsibility. They endure through use and require walking to maintain; each wayfarer tracing the steps of the preceding travelers. They are the most intimate of geographies; at once personal and communal.
