This series of images acts as a catalogue of my incidental and intimate encounters with utopia. I have approached utopia as an act of imagination and this series as anti-vista, banal and highly idiosyncratic. The images reveal my preoccupation with botanical forms as an aesthetic pleasure and locating devices, each image is of a specific place at a specific time. Each print presents an image like a page from a catalogue, humble in scale and intimate in experience.
